GTA 6 developer Rockstar has seemingly taken a big step towards completing development for the next open-world action game.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is undoubtedly the most anticipated release on current-gen consoles.
To say the expectations are sky high would be an understatement, especially given the time that has elapsed between the release of GTA 5 and the upcoming sequel.
Luckily, though, it looks like the release of GTA 6 could be a lot closer than fans think.
According to a GTA insider (via GTA 6 NEWS AND LEAKS), Rockstar has already started adding songs to in-game radio stations.
“Something internal was revealed to me recently, but I can’t say much,” read a tweet from GTA 6 NEWS AND LEAKS. “Referring to certain songs from certain radio stations that may feature in the next title in the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
“Radio stations and songs are believed to be the final stage of the game’s late development. Past GTA 6 leaks have suggested that it entered GTA 6 in 2019.”
As you can see from the tweet above, radio stations are usually added to the game later in development, suggesting that a reveal might not be too far off.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 could finally make an appearance during an impending anniversary event.
Final Fantasy 7 debuted on PlayStation on January 31, 1997 (in Japan).
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy 7, Square Enix is hosting a special commemorative event online.
Streamed live on YouTube, the broadcast will take place at 10:00 GMT UK time on January 31.
The upcoming event will feature legendary Final Fantasy 7 director Yoshinori Kitase as well as Final Fantasy 7 Remake creative director Tetsuya Nomura.
While the event will primarily focus on Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier, fans are hoping to catch a glimpse of FF7 Remake Part 2.
Fingers crossed, we finally have news of the upcoming adventure.
Mortal Kombat 12 seems to have been leaked before its official reveal.
In a now-deleted tweet, NetherRealm Senior Production Manager Jonathan Andersen recently shared a message from his workstation (below).
The desk was largely filled with Mortal Kombat and Injustice memorabilia, including artwork and publicity images.
Fans can also see a very small part of Andersen’s computer screen, with a very telling filename.
On one of the computer screens, fans noticed a file named “MK12_Mast”. Needless to say, this has led to speculation about Mortal Kombat 12 being delayed in development.
This confirms previous reports that NetherRealm is focusing on the Mortal Kombat franchise and not currently creating a new Injustice game as originally planned.
It should be noted that NetherRealm is no longer working on new content for MK 11, so a new game looks like a certificate.
