Halo Infinite Campaign Patch Notes – December 8

Resolved issues

Many improvements come from Halo insider feedback and Halo support tickets submitted by players. Here are some of the issues published in the Infinite Halo Campaign update today:

  • Local Area Network (LAN) multiplayer is now available. There is a known issue for LAN multiplayer:
    • Match settings changed in the Mode Editor are always displayed by default. The changed settings work as expected once the match has started.
  • Drives with AMD Radeon RX 500 Series GPUs no longer experience crashes because asynchronous computation in video settings is enabled.
    • Players who turned off asynchronous computation because of it can now turn it back on.
  • If Halo Infinite is launched without an internet connection, players can connect to the internet from the main menu and play online.
    • This does not resolve all scenarios where the game is launched connected to the internet, then loses the internet connection and is stuck offline until the game is restarted.
  • When launching in windowed mode on Steam, the window displays correct borders.

Challenge and progression changes

  • On November 30, the XP rewards for the first six Daily Challenges have been increased.
    • The first match rewards 300XP, the next 2 matches each reward 200XP and the next 3 matches reward 100XP. After completing these first 6 challenges, all completed matches each reward 50XP.
    • Daily challenges reset at 10 a.m. Pacific.

Known campaign issues

Some of the more important issues have also been fixed in Infinite Halo Campaign update today:

  • When you purchase Halo Infinite Campaign in-game, there may be a delay of several minutes while the purchase is processed before you can play.
  • When playing offline or entering the campaign via a quick summary, the MJOLNIR arsenal customizations collected in the campaign are not unlocked in the multiplayer customization menu.
    • The team is working on a retroactive fix for players who have collected offline MJOLNIR armory customizations.
    • Workaround: While using Quick Resume or after losing your internet connection while playing Halo Infinite, close and relaunch the game before picking up any MJOLNIR armory items.
  • Equipment upgrades cannot be purchased from the Upgrades menu when using the linear navigation accessibility feature.
  • Moving fast while dead can cause an endless loading screen.
    • Solution: Close Halo Infinite and reload the save in the main menu.
  • Very rarely, players may be unable to progress through the current mission.
    • Workaround: Restart the mission.

The details mentioned above are taken from the release notes on the official website of Infinite halo.
