Halo Infinite: How to fix stuttering issues

To get the most out of an online multiplayer game, you might need to tweak a few settings to make things run more smoothly. Things went well in the early days of Halo Infinite’s beta, but the fact that the game hasn’t been fully released yet offers the potential for things to go wrong. Here are several suggestions for reducing stuttering on a console or computer.

If you experience stuttering or picture drop while playing Halo Infinite on your PC, we recommend that you quit and reopen the game. Turning things off and back on might sound like a cliché, but it can actually fix a lot of issues. . If the game does not close, launch Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + alt + delete. Locate Halo Infinite and select Finish Task.

If that doesn’t work, we suggest you go to Settings and decrease the visual choices you use. It is possible that your PC is trying to run the game but is unable to do so due to the settings you have selected. First of all, we recommend that you enable Vsync and reduce the resolution scale to around 90. Your game may need to be restarted as a result of this. When you get back, jump into a game to see if things have improved. If not, make sure your graphics driver is up to date.

Check your internet connection if you are still having problems. Restart your router after performing an Internet speed test. You can also see if your internet connection is working properly by playing another online game. If everything seems to be working fine on your end, check out the Halo Support Twitter account to see if anyone else is having matchmaking or stability issues.

We recommend that you go to Settings and switch to Video to find out the Graphics Quality option if you’re playing on an Xbox One or Series S. Select Performance from this menu. As a result, your console will prioritize delivering a smoother frame rate rather than producing the best picture. Since the system is powerful enough to display 4K images at 60 frames per second, you can’t adjust this from quality if you’re playing on an X series.

Other than that, Halo Infinite should work fine on your console. If the stuttering persists, check your internet connection to make sure it’s not the source of the problem and try resetting your console completely by pressing the Xbox button on your controller and selecting Restart Console. If that doesn’t work, try removing and reinstalling the program.
