Epic’s hugely popular battle royale game shares a number of similarities with Warzone. It’s primarily a battle royale game, at least in 2021, where players or teams fight to survive the longest on a massive battlefield. For Warzone fans looking for a change of pace from Call of Duty’s arsenal of more realistic weaponry and environments, Fortnite offers a more colorful and whimsical world. The biggest and most action-packed of all Halo modes, Big Team Battle pits two teams of 8 (or 12 when Halo Infinite launches) against each other across Halo’s largest maps. Big Team Battle matches are full of the kind of water cooler, Michael Bay movie-like moments you might come across in Warzone. There are never two identical matches. Halo games are known for their excellent shooting controls and mechanics, which Call of Duty fans will likely appreciate as well. Halo is also a sci-fi game, so it’s not limited to the kind of real-world weaponry you’ll find in Call of Duty, if you’re looking to mix it up. And while Big Team Battle doesn’t have a battle royale mode, it does offer several different modes like Capture the Flag, Territories, and Deathmatch to keep things fresh and interesting. Call of Duty: Warzone is a tactical multiplayer game that requires skill and coordination. The same can be said for Overskill’s Payday 2. While not a battle royale game, Payday 2 sees teams working together to pull off Hollywood-style heists before the law hits. can’t stop them. In that regard, it’s a fight for survival against tough odds – much like Warzone. Payday 2 is a fantastic team-based tactical heist and Overkill has consistently supported the game over the years with plenty of new updates to keep things fresh and interesting, including John Wick DLC. Another reason to check out Payday 2 is that Payday 3 is coming in 2023, so it could be a nice intro. Payday 2 is available on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC.

Like Warzone, PUBG features a huge variety of weapons, gear, and vehicles, not to mention an oversized player count and a gigantic map. The formula will also feel familiar, as players fight to become the last person or team standing, with a ring of death closing all the time and forcing players into fights. If you like the epic scale of Call of Duty: Warzone, EA’s Star Wars: Battlefront II might also be for you. While not a battle royale game by any means, Battlefront II is an excellent and polished large-scale multiplayer shooter that has a lot of what makes Warzone great. It has huge battlefields with many nooks and crannies and paths to learn; he has a massive arsenal of various weapons; and it has a great assortment of vehicles. Players can also have a great time playing solo or in a squad, much like Warzone. Battlefront 2 is available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

If you’re looking for a new battle royale game and want something with a very different tone and style to Warzone, the Super Animal Royale indie game might be a game to check out. Super Animal Royale is a 64-player 2D battle royale game where animals fight to the death until only one remains. Set in an abandoned safari park, the game lets you play as a tiger, fox, or bear to begin with. You collect resources such as weapons, armor, and items from the park to use to attack your enemies. Developer Pixile has been steadily supporting the game with new updates and content since launch, and the game doesn’t require a beefy PC.
