Jelly Boy. Claymates. Bombuzal.
Nintendo has announced the next three SNES games that will join its Switch Online catalog: Claymates, Jelly Boy and Bombuzal.
The three are joining Nintendo’s paid service next week, July 28.
Here’s a look at the trio in action:
“Take on the role of Clayton, son of Professor Putty,” Nintendo says of Claymates. “Your father made a breakthrough, and with the serum he created, living creatures can be turned into clay! You will face many dangers, but you have the ability to transform into five different animals. need all to run, jump, fly, swim and overcome obstacles in your way. “
Eurogamer editor Wesley Yin-Poole tells me this is a spin-off of Interplay’s fighting game series ClayFighter, a Street Fighter parody that spawned several sequels. .

“In this platform game originally released exclusively in Europe in 1995, you are Jelly Boy, a candy that gives the spark of life through the power of lightning,” Nintendo says of Jelly Boy. “You came to life knowing one thing: you must escape the candy factory. To get out you will have to collect puzzle pieces and survive the heavy enemies that are trying to stop you. You will definitely need all of your wits, skills, and shapeshifting powers to get through this wacky adventure. “
“Strategically detonate each bomb in each level while leaving yourself a safe place to stand when the dust settles,” Nintendo says of Bombuzal. “In this puzzle game, you will have to be quick, because time is of the essence. Remember to factor in the size of each explosion, otherwise it could derail all your careful planning. Good luck, and have fun!”
The Nintendo Switch Online catalog now includes over 100 NES and SNES games – you’ll hear about it, many you won’t. It is part of the Switch Online subscription service which also unlocks online multiplayer and cloud saves.
