Indian game studio, SuperGaming has released a Season 2 update for its “Squid Game” inspired mode in Silly Royale. The title had received more than 750,000 pre-registrations and will now introduce new game modes.
At launch, Silly Royale only had the “Red Light, Green Light” level in Early Access, which had to be unlocked by completing an in-game set of objectives. Season 2, however, adds two more levels – Honeycomb Dalgona and Tug of War, and a few other game improvements.
Silly Royale will now host larger lobbies of 40 players, where players can participate in deadly stakes games inspired by the Netflix show. Other upgrades include “Streamer Mode” which allows lobby moderation for content creators (invite players only) and a voice chat feature for public matches. More game modes will be added in future updates.
“Squid Royale Season 2 is our biggest update to Silly Royale to date with new game modes and new features that the community has requested since the game launched,” said Christelle D’cruz, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Silly Royale. “It’s also our most player count with 40 able to play Squid Royale at a time – that’s over three times our maximum number of players for any given mode before.”
Additionally, the update brings new skins for your characters, such as VIP Bull, VIP Stag, VIP Lion, and Santa, which you could earn by winning matches. Leaderboards will also be introduced, allowing you to track your progress. The players with the highest score can then enter a Discord raffle to win a range of prizes, including a PlayStation 5.
Developed by SuperGaming, Silly Royale is a real-time online multiplayer game made in India where you play a bunch of board game modes namely Jailbreak, Hide and Seek, Murder Mystery and the new Squid Royale. The title offers customization options for your Silly Avatar and includes interactive features such as emoticons and voice chat.
Silly Royale is available for free download on Android and iOS.
