Struggling to find the solution to today’s everyday wordle game? We are here to help you…
I imagine there are two types of people who visit this article.
First, those who managed to find the word of the day in six attempts or less (congratulations), but are stuck with a rather obtuse solution.
To these people, I say, “Welcome, come in, let me explain what today’s five-letter answer means.”
Then there will be the people who gave up on putting five letters in the correct answer and found their way here looking for a way to spoil themselves to the result.
These people should really think about getting back into the game and giving it a good and honest chance. Where’s the fun in cheating? You only deceive yourself.
Whatever your motivation for visiting, below is the solution to today’s Wordle puzzle, along with an explanation of what the word means.
We’ll be updating this article daily, so be sure to bookmark it and come back for the solution tomorrow!
Here’s everything you need to know.
What is Wordle?
First, a little background on the game itself.
Anyone familiar with the Mastermind game, which uses colored pegs, will immediately be familiar with the premise of Wordle.
The objective of the game is to guess the secret word in six tries, using a series of clues to discover it.
- If one of your letters is highlighted in green, it means you have the right letter in the right place.
- If any of the letters are highlighted in yellow, that means those letters are in the word, but are currently in the wrong place.
- Finally, if one of your letters is highlighted in gray, it means that these letters are not included anywhere in the secret word.
You can play Wordle on the Power Language website. There is only one puzzle released each day, so you will need to check the website again the next day to continue playing.
Users share the number of tries it took them to solve the puzzle on social media, as once solved the website offers players the opportunity to share their results.
This sharing option generates an emoji grid that replicates the color pattern found on your completed puzzle, using the black, yellow, and green emoji boxes.
Such sharing allows players to share their results entirely spoiler-free. Users will also include which edition of Wordle it is and how many guesses they took, for example, “Wordle 187 4/6”.
What is Today’s Wordle?
The Wordle of February 1, 2022 is “THOSE”.
What does “Those” mean?
The Cambridge dictionary defines ‘those‘ as “the plural of ‘that'”.
As an example of its use, they suggest, “Can I help you with these bags?” »
